Blazing Arc is a 3D printed card holder: a sculpted flame stand that holds one standard card in the card case that comes with it. Two finishes in one piece - a gold and red front and a rich red reverse - so you can turn it around whenever you want to change the look.

01 · The sculpt
Flames that curl up and over the card
Layered tongues of fire climb from the foot of the stand and break into two hooked crests above the card. Each layer sits at a different depth, so the piece keeps moving as you walk past it.
02 · The magnets
It clicks into place and stays there
Magnets built into the foot attach the stand to compatible metal surfaces and connect it seamlessly with the optional Illuminated Magnetic Display Base - no fiddling to line the two pieces up.
03 · The card case
A 35pt one-touch card case, included
Not a sleeve and not a plastic wallet - a proper one-touch magnetic card case, the kind a collector already keeps their good cards in. Acid-free acrylic with a UV coating, so a card left on display through a summer does not come back faded. The cradle in the stand is cut for this exact case, 73 mm wide and 7.5 mm deep, which is why the card sits square instead of leaning. A raw card goes in, or a card in one thin sleeve. Graded slabs, thick cards, double sleeves and toploaders do not.

The Illuminated Magnetic Display Base sits under the stand and throws light up through it, so the low flames glow and the gold edges catch. Set the stand on top and the magnets do the aligning.

Every Blazing Arc fire stand is printed to order in Richmond, British Columbia, and assembled by hand, so small surface marks typical of 3D printing may be visible. They are a natural part of the process and make each stand slightly one of a kind.

The lit base, if you add it
Only in the Fire Stand + Card Case + Lit Base setup, and sold on its own for anyone adding a second element later. The lamp sits under the stand rather than in front of it, so the colour comes from inside the print instead of from a spotlight. It arrives assembled with the cable attached: plug it into any USB-A port, a laptop, a monitor or a phone charger, and the in-line switch turns the light off without unplugging anything. Magnets in the top face pull the stand into position on their own, and four rubber feet keep the stack from sliding on a shelf.
Questions
Will a graded card fit?
No. PSA, CGC and BGS slabs are too thick and too wide for the cradle, and so are toploaders and double-sleeved cards. The slot is cut for the 35pt one-touch card case that comes in the box, 73 mm wide and 7.5 mm deep, which is what keeps the card sitting square instead of leaning.
What is a 35pt one-touch card case?
The hard magnetic case a collector uses for a card worth displaying. Two acrylic halves that close on a magnetic edge, acid-free, with a UV coating so a card on display does not fade. 35pt is the thickness it takes: a standard card, raw or in one thin sleeve.
Can I use a card case I already own?
If it measures 73 mm wide and 7.5 mm deep or less, yes. Measure it rather than going by the label - 35pt one-touch is a category name, not a tolerance, and depth in particular varies between brands.
Can the magnets damage my card?
No. Magnets act on magnetic material, and there is none in a trading card - cardboard, ink and foil do not respond to a magnetic field. The magnets are there to hold the stand to metal surfaces and to the lit base.
What does the lit base plug into?
Any USB-A port: a laptop, a monitor, a phone charger. The 1.5 m cable is attached to the base and carries an in-line switch, so the light goes off without unplugging anything. A USB power adapter is not included.
Where should it stand?
Anywhere out of direct sun. The stand is printed in PLA, which softens in heat, so a windowsill in full afternoon light, a car dashboard or a shelf above a radiator will slowly pull the sculpt out of shape. Everywhere else on a desk or a shelf is fine. Dust it with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
How long does it take, and where does it ship from?
Every stand is printed after you order. Allow 1-3 business days to make it, then Canada Post from Richmond, British Columbia: 1-7 business days in transit within Canada, about 10 business days to the United States, 6-14 to the rest of the world.
Will I pay duty in the United States?
Duty is calculated and collected at checkout, not on delivery.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send a photo and it will be put right. Returns are open for 14 days, and the full terms are in the refund policy.
