Refund policy

Everything here is made to order in my studio, one piece at a time. If something is not right, I would rather fix it than leave you stuck with it.

14-day returns

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. Items need to come back unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

To start a return, email orders@dukseldesign.com with your order number and a photo of the item. I will reply with return instructions. Please do not send anything back before you hear from me - parcels returned without a return request cannot be processed.

Return shipping

Return shipping is paid by you, unless the return is my fault: wrong item, a manufacturing defect, or damage that happened before the parcel left my studio. In those cases I cover the return and send you a prepaid label.

One honest note about international returns. Sending a small item back from the other side of the world often costs more than the item itself. Message me first - in most cases there is a better solution than shipping it back.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and I have checked it, I will refund your original payment method within 5 business days. Refunds cover the price of the item; original shipping is not refunded unless the return was my fault.

Damaged or lost parcels

Tell me what happened, and send a photo if the parcel arrived damaged. I handle these case by case - depending on what went wrong, that means a replacement, a refund, or a claim with the carrier. Please reach out within 14 days of the expected delivery date.

Exchanges

The fastest way to swap a size or a design is to return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under consumer law where you live. Many countries give buyers a cooling-off period or statutory guarantees on distance sales: the United Kingdom and the European Union have a 14-day right to cancel, and Australia and New Zealand have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Wherever those rights go further than this policy, they apply.
